Thank you for shopping with The Understated. Every order is prepared with attention to detail and dispatched with care.

1. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship within India only.

2. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

As our products are prepared after order confirmation, processing includes production, quality inspection, and secure packaging.

3. Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery time: 4-7 business days from dispatch.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, courier operations, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Shipping Charges

We offer free shipping across India on all prepaid and COD orders.

There are no hidden shipping fees.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Cash on Delivery is available on eligible orders.

  • COD orders may require confirmation via call or message.

  • Orders may be cancelled if confirmation is not received.

  • The Understated reserves the right to decline COD for certain pin codes or high-risk orders.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, tracking details will be sent via email.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

7. Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.

Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may require additional shipping charges for re-dispatch.

8. Delivery Delays

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • High order volumes

  • Courier disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Regional restrictions

  • Other circumstances beyond our control

The Understated is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier partners.

9. No Returns Policy

All sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product received is:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Incorrect item delivered

In such cases, customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.

10. Marked Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows “Delivered” but the package is not received:

  • Customers must first contact the courier partner.

  • If unresolved, contact us within 5 days of delivery status.

We will assist in initiating an investigation.
